This is a minicomic we had to do for school that I scanned and put into Flash...it was based on the "Proust questionnaire" and we had to make 16 pages out of the questions in it. Some of them are a little dated, rofl.

I avoided talking about being a cartoonist in the actual comic because I feel like minicomics about how you're a cartoonist are so...done. As Gary Panter said in class last year, "Drawing comics about drawing comics is a bad idea. Drawing comics about not knowing what to draw is a bad idea. So try to avoid that. Draw...hippos fighting pandas or something." (True story, I scratched that down in my sketchbook after he said it, ha ha ha.)

Anyway this was originally completely non-digital (including the screentone, I'm a badass), hence it being black and white and pages 4 and 13 being rotated in this digital version.

Enjoy, and I hope you learn something new about yours truly! :D

p.s. the paper version of the minicomics will be available on etsy as soon as I can take photos of them and stuff.
